Theme Interpretation: This started out as a joke idea about winning a lifetime supply of free pizza and charting the emotional course of living with that prize. What was originally going to be the opening that conveys the initial dream and aspiration of the coveted American-Italian dish evolved into a piece that was more delicate than anticipated, and I decided to extend that into the full song as it just felt like the right thing to do. Who knows, maybe we didn't need all that free pizza after all.
