Theme Interpretation: Inside the Hive is an experiment using code I had created for another arpeggiated synthesizer piece I've been working on, but applied to the challenge's theme. I went for "out there" sounds and digital "gushy" sounds that remind me of aliens. Alien to me reminds me of the cheesy green alien with round black eyes, so I went for that sound. I also focused on the form of the piece to make sure it made sense. In the end, I think the composition reminds me of being inside a spaceship, which is why the piece is titled "Inside the Hive."

Software used: Common Lisp, Pure-data, Helm, Carla rack effects, and ardour all through Jack Audio Server as separate programs
