Theme Interpretation: The Basic Premise is how would we view Alien/Foreign music for the first time, or how would they react to our music coming from an entirely different culture. To keep it mostly listenable, however, I kept the weirdness of it to the instrument choices and combinations.

Unfortunately, I was unable to capture the grand scale that the song title sets an expectation for, as trying to encompass an entire collective of hit songs in a single track while making it strange and alien to our ears was a task that was not fit for the time frame. However, by including some very different instruments that would normally only be seen in separate genres, while also including a couple of distinct styles of music within the piece itself, I think it should at least bear some small resemblance to the initial vision. If you DON'T know what the title is referencing, then this paragraph probably didn't make a whole lotta sense. Oh well, here is a random fact that will be even more confusing. I only found out the day before I put the song together that the number of releases was actually different depending on which part of the world you live in. So if you count them all there are literal HUNDREDS of those little buggers released over the last 30-40 years. And here I thought it was just a fad that started and ended in the 90's by us silly Americans. Boy was I wrong.
