Theme Interpretation: When writing this track I took inspiration from this definition of the word Corruption: "a departure from the original or from what is pure or correct". In this case, I started by writing the drum and basslines in 15/4, then added a flanger effect that would affect ALL of the instruments before expanding on the drums & bass; in other words, the song was written to fit the effects (effects that would arguably CORRUPT rather than enhance the sound at that) rather than the other way around. While I started writing a second section in 4/4 this had to be scrapped due to lack of time.
