Theme Interpretation: I was thinking back to 1980, when I was 13 years old. New Wave was exploding on the scene, John Lennon was murdered, and Mt Saint Helens erupted. It was a weird year, and I felt like I was disconnected from the world because I lived in a rural area far from pretty much anywhere interesting.
